So I have a pair of India blue peafowl, one male one female, probably brother and sister. Last year they did mate and none of the eggs hatched( I hatched a whole bunch of quail with the same incubator so I know I can Hatch eggs) so I'm trying to avoid inbreeding them this year so that dosn't happen again. I live in Austin and was wondering if anyone in central texas was willing to do a hen trade for the breeding season and then get their bird back at the end of the season. I promise to take good career your bird!! I bought my birds from bow so I'm hoping to find someone who bought their birds from a different breeder to avoid inbreeding. If your interested send me a pm.

Texas peafowl is in your area perhaps if you do not have any luck here you could sell the pair and use the moneys to buy from them, just a thought.
