On our river, we have all sorts of waterfowl - ducks, swans, moorhens - who brood chicks halfway through winter. [IMG] Come spring, when everyone else is just hatching, their babies are all grown up!
We always have a laugh at them!

Halfway through winter here the temps are around -20F, I don't see any brooding going on.

    Yikes, that's cold [IMG]
On a warm day in winter it will reach maybe... 14*C?
Even the plants get confused and all start flowering [IMG]
