Appenzeller Spitzhausen- I should be but I'm not....

    A while back I bought some gold spangled appenzeller spitzhausen eggs at the auction. Except they didn't turn out to be....

    I posted this pic a while ago when this chick was a week or two old-

    Everyone thought it was cute and liked it's mohican [​IMG] but didn't get far in identifying it.

    Here it is again today, now it's 6 weeks old.

    I think it looks like it has the right crest for the breed but it's obviously not the right colour. Which is a shame as I bought the eggs as my daughter keeps saying she wants a spotty chicken and this one isn't. You can just see at the back of the picture a little black chick which is completely not the breed at all- 2 of these were the other chicks that hatched from these eggs.

    Any thoughts on what this one might be would be great [​IMG]

    Lol it's not the friendlist chick so doesn't come very close and was taking pics with my phone so no zoom. And it's a very small chicken [​IMG]

    Will try again tomorrow but in the meantime any thoughts anyone?

    Sort of a mix of a BO with Polish, that would be my flying guess.
