How efficient is apple cider vinegar in reducing the chance of coccidiosis in my chicks?

Broad question for a broad answer... hopefully! [IMG]

Slim to none. Give them milk to slow the effects of the protozoa until you can get them on corid.

Well my chicks aren't sick, but they are on non-medicated feed so I was curious how well it prevents the issue.

I love Apple Cider Vinegar, but dawg is right. It realistically will not prevent the issue. Watching your birds carefully for symptoms and keeping Corid on hand just in case are the safest things to do.
