Somewhere, I have seen about putting
vinegar in the waterer. But can't find it
    now. Anybody know the ratio?

I put a Tablespoon in 1 gallon of water. I'm pretty sure I read it here. But if you want to make sure, just do a search for apple cider vinegar on this site. I use the pure unpasturized kind for my chickens.

Tablespoon to a gallon is good...I usually just eyeball it. You have to use the good organic stuff with the Mother to reap the benefits. I use Braggs...you can get it in most health food stores and even some grocery stores. I get a big gallon jug for about $ 16.[IMG]

I have quart waterers for my chicks and I put in about half a teaspoon per quart. They seem to like it fine.

Edited because I got the quantities wrong (I was using a 1/4 teaspoon measure in stead of a 1/2 teaspoon one)
