Apple on a string....

    Got this idea from the poultry show. Was hilarious watching the chooks trying to figure it out. The only ones who mastered it by this afternoon
    anyway were the peacocks...and then they wouldn't let anyone else have a turn! Fun entertainment for them, and us, on a very cool afternoon
    when they chose the barn over being outside...[​IMG]

    i saw that too and thought it was a great idea. i think i am going to try it with mine.

    i tried the apple and they basically ignored it. did the same with a small cabbage and they we on it like velociraptors! [​IMG]

    UUmmmm I dont want to sound tooo blond but how do you get the apple/cabbage on a string??

    i got a treat ball this weekend and my daughter filled it with lettuce since we didn't have any cabbage and they loved it:)

    Mine love the hanging cabbage. I'll have to try an apple, never done that before.

    sounds like great fun- can't wait to try it!
    might be fun for them when it's too snowy for them to be outside

    mine will eat anything I hang on a string.. I will have to try the apples.....keeps them busy all day long!!
