Anyone have Appleyard duck hatching eggs in a month or so that can put me on the list for some?...I see there is another posting but I don't want to bid just a firm price in a month or two....PM me if you know of any......

If you look on feathersite you can see pics SnM. They are really nice birds. I have two that I hatched last summer. Both drakes though

They are very large nice looking ducks. They have grown to be the same size as my rouen drake who is a BIG boy! Oh and they are very hardy too IMO.

We use to have kiddie pools forourducks but they made WAY to big of a mess with them. So now we use large bowls that they can put their whole heads in. That is the most important thing. But ours live with our chickens thats why we took away the kiddie pools. If you have the room though a kiddie pool is good enough for them.

Appleyards have always been my favorite for ducks for years...just never found anyone that had any....they are a nice calm duck for small flock owners....they are on the critical list....

I would keep a few, not sure if they need water or not that would have to be asked but...have a creek and could do a pond...

Yep, we raise Apppleyards. They are one of my favorites. Big and beautiful!
They have'nt started laying yet, but should within the next few weeks. As soon as i get fertility checked, I will gladly let you know.
