April Hatch A Long... anyone goin to hatch with me?????? !!!

I have 8 eggs under a broody due Apil 3rd and 30 eggs in my incubator due April 9th
The ones in my incubator are Welsummers, French Black Copper Marans, and Barred Rocks.
I plan on setting some quail eggs at the end of the week as well as some OEGB BBRed.

Last night was day 5. I candled 3 eggs at random and could'nt see anything, rather depressing. I'll wait another 2 days and try again with stronger light.

Mine started 3-22-11. I have 17 New Hampshire Red and 2 Cuckoo Maran eggs going.

I set eggs Fri / Sat in two incubators. Expected hatch date is weekend of 16. They will be passover peeps

Brabanters in one incubator and BLRW in the other.

Candled tonight...Day 8....missed day 7!! The 11/12 bantam eggs look great. One is a light bulb and will pull it when I candle the 31-day 10. The 12 Dominique eggs will be candled on day 10. I did 6 tonight and 3 were good and 3 were not, but I got interuped from candling the rest, so I will just wait.
So if all the bantams go I'll have 11 mixed barred rocks and rhode island reds.

Candled again tonight. 11/12 bantam mix of Barred Rocks and Rhoded Island Reds. 2 possible early quitters out of those. 1 was not furtile. I will wait to lockdown to candle again ans see about the two that might be quitters. Of the 12 Dominique 9/12. 3 were not fertile and 1 of the 9 might be an early quitter. Lockdown is March 8th.

@ pax12 I am incubating only 7 eggs, but mine are due the same day as yours

So far by candling I have three that will for sure hatch, if nothing goes wrong.

I set 12 RIR, BR, & BSL eggs under my Broody BR hen on 3/28/11.

So they are due on 4/18/11.

I can't wait! 1 of the eggs broke today though. So I have 11 eggs left.
