These eggs collected today. $25 shipped.

Hens are mostly Buff Orpingtons, plus BC Marans hens that didn't make the cut for the purebred Marans pen.

    Roosters are:

2 BC Marans who were culled from the Marans pen due to incorrect feather coloring:

    1 Buff Orp roo, Skee-Lo:

And one Splash Ameraucana roo who is definitely low man on the totem pole:

These are hatching out some real cutie-pie crosses, as well as some purebred Orps. I'm hoping for nice dual-purpose birds.

Quote:Oh, I do lurve him. I've had him penned with a blue Amer hen for months now, and she refuses to lay an egg! So I finally just put him out with the general population, and her into the Marans pen. Hopefully something will "shake loose!"

Sam, they mostly just look like plain Orpington eggs, except there's a couple from the Marans hen that I culled from the Marans pen (she has weird coloration, and doesn't lay a fantastic colored egg, either).

This is the only recent egg picture I have, but this package would contain mostly the Orp eggs, fertilized by CB Marans roos (and one BO, and possibly one Ameraucana).

I have no idea, yet, what color eggs may be laid by the offspring resulting from this cross.
