Araucana? Male or female? Please help.

Hi everyone!
I bought this beautiful bird as a female lavender araucana. The more I look at it the more I think it's a boy, it's still early to tell as it is only 7 weeks old. Whilst they told me I can return the bird in the event it is a rooster/cockerel, I'm hoping it is a female as it is so sweet natured.
What do you think? And I've been reading up on araucanas and I am so confused now as to whether this beauty actually is one or not!
At the moment it's name is Jasmine but who knows it could be an Aladdin?

I'm not seeing anything screaming cockerel.

If you're in the US, it's not an Aracauna. If you're in the UK or Australia, it could be, but they're usually crested, aren't they?

I'm in Australia. It's got quite long tail feathers, that's the only thing I'm thinking cockerel at the moment.
I haven't had an araucana before so I'm not sure what to look for in this breed.
I guess it will be just a waiting game.

Looks like a pullet at this point. But judging by the absence of ear tufts and rumplessness, I would not say that it is not a true Araucana.

In Australia where the op is from Araucanas have tails, beards, muffs, and are often crested.

Although not always, often at this age pullets develop tail feathers more quickly than cockerels, so I wouldn't worry about it's tail. Can you get a picture of it's comb?
