Are all cochins..bantam?

    I am just wondering, as I have one Red Cochin pullett. The feed store says not bantam, but she is sooooo much smaller than all the rest.

    I couldnt find any definate info on this.

    No, all cochins are not bantams. They come in standard size also.

    Right.. and on backyard chickens I found the info I needed lol.

    I guess there indeed is standard and bantam, but it doesnt give a weight for the standard. wonder if she could still be standard and be smaller than all the others. She is even smaller than my leghorn.

    Hmm... She could still be standard but on the small side. However, my bet is the feed store told you wrong and she is a bantam.
