Standard or bantams? Standard - Doms are okay if you have true Doms. Ameraucanas do better in bantam and not well at all in standard.

Any quality bird, including large fowl Ameraucanas, has the potential to do well in a show.
Without knowing where you are getting you birds from it would be impossible to predict the likelihood of your having a bird that would show competitively.

I hate to tell you this, but any "Ameraucanas" you get from a hatchery are actually Easter Eggers. See the sticky at the top of the breeds forum.

Ameraucana = Easter Eggers when ordering from a hatchery. They will not do well in shows because they are not recognized by the APA (American Poultry Association).

If you are getting your Dominiques from the same place, then, unless there is no competition at all, the Dominiques will be out as well.
