Are americana roosters good eatting?

I have a 17 week old rooster. He is an americana. Very large breast meat. The question is if americana is good eatting. Thanks

He is an Easter Egger, and yes they are good eating.. Though they tend to be a bit small.

Yes. We loved ours so much that even though they won't be large. My hubby has me hatching some EE's from our americanas / Orp rooster

the girls will be sold as EE's and the boy will be eaten. Small but good.
