Are australorps a good meatie?

I've got an Australorp roo in the oven right now. Dressed out nice at about 5 lbs. He was 23 weeks old. Nice looking bird. I'll let you know how he turns out!
 
Delicious!!!! Moist, flavorful. I let him set 24 hours after processing. I did not soak him in a brine. I simply rubbed him down with some olive oil and Bells seasoning. I cooked him in the enamel roaster at 275 degrees. The meat pulled apart with a fork.
