So my family bought 6 chicks back in May, all we’re supposed to be hens though lately we’ve noticed some traits in one of our Blue Laced Red Wyandotte’s that are signature of roosters. She/He has always been the aggressive one and has recently started to crow in the mornings as well. Our other BLRW hasn’t acted like a rooster at all since we’ve had her, though she also has some hackle & saddle looking feathers similar to our darker more masculine one - so we’re not sure if she could also be a cock or not. I’ll attach more recent photos to this after I take some but here are a few from 2 weeks ago.
Big C is the darker one which we think to be believe could very well be a cock, and Delores is the lighter more colorful one which we hope is still a rooster.
