Are chickens fans of blueberries?

    they will love them. I have a friend who says her chicks go "blueberry bowling" It's so cute

    Mine really enjoyed the blueberries that I gave them. They were a special treat.

    OH, yeah! They do Olympic jumps for them. Hope the antioxidants are as good for chickens as they are for us!

    I was just wondering. I mean, if they were larger, I'd pick some for jam or pies. But these are puny. The biggest one I found was about the size of my pinkie nail.

    I figure next year, the goats will probably wipe the bushes out. I might as well collect some 'treats' for the chickies, right?

    I'm told these are infact huckleberries? I didn't know we had them in PA... What's the difference besides being sweeter?

    My girls go crazy for blueberries. They don't get them very often because they usually don't last that long! [​IMG]
