Are chicks you buy at tsc and other farm stores vaccinated?

Was researching illness in chicks and saw for some illnesses the chicks have to be vaccinated when they are a day old.

I think it depends on the hatchery. Some vacinate and some don't.

Actually, it probably depends on if the feed store orders the chicks from the hatchery as vaccinated or not. Most charge so much per chick to vaccinate them for Marek's Disease and/or coccidiosis. I don't know of any hatchery who vaccinates their chicks automatically without the customer say-so.

Just about all of the chicks, no, they are not vaccinated unless you specifically ordered it.
