are hemlock shavings okay?

    My brother-in-law just gave me a big bag of hemlock shavings from a tree that he took down in his yard. Are these safe for chickens?

    Many types of hemlock are deadly poisonous to humans. I'd play it safe and keep them away from your chickens.
