Are Muscovies right for me?

I have a flock of about 16 chickens right now (and a bunch of chicks and other baby poultry). The adults are living in a fenced in area about 1/2 acre in size. It is fenced with 8 foot fencing. It is bordered by trees. There is no water in the enclosure but there is a pond about 300 yards outside of it. My chickens sleep in a 10x10 coop with roosts. Would this be sufficient for Muscovy ducks? I've tried other breeds a long time ago but hated the fact that I'd have to clean their kiddie pool almost every few hours.

In my experience with them you will be cleaning everything but the pond. They are a more land based breed vs staying on the water. They still need a source of water deep enough to clean their beaks in.
