    Hi everyone.
Before March this year I'd never owned a chicken but now have 4 and loving it. I am definitely a newbie and need some help as I have two chickens that I am wondering what breed they are and if either or both are roosters. Neither of them crow. At the moment, because I am a new member I can not post photos. As soon as I can I will post some pics. Until then I am loving reading all your questions and seeing the answers.

thank you for your replies. I was really hoping chicken 2 wasn't a roo, as he is full of character and so entertaining to watch. I guess the good thing is he hasn't started to crow yet, so I can keep him for a little longer. Hopefully when the time comes I can find a good home for him.
