Are my chicks male or female (silkie)

    I got some silkies as was wondering if anyone could tell the gender. I'm about 90% the buff is a roo though the buff being the youngest.[​IMG].[​IMG].[​IMG].[​IMG].[​IMG].[​IMG].[​IMG].[​IMG].[​IMG].[​IMG]

    They are a bit young for anything but guess, but your buff is probably a rooster based on the comb color, and the white has wide comb so I would guess rooster on that one too. It will be another month or two before you can be sure though.

    how old are they? Usually 4-5 mos. is when you can get a good read on genders but, some are impossible to tell until they crow or lay.
