Are my dark brahmas hens or roosters? Tail feathers?

What are the differences in these two bottoms of my chickens? I have six dark brahmas. Three have tail feathers and three have none. Are some roosters? I am so confused!! Please Help!

I personally can't say, but I do know that I wouldn't jump to conclusions yet. I have 7 different breeds and each breed and each chicken of each breed are developing at a different rate. I have two Amberlinks, for example, with long tail feathers and no comb and one with hardly any tail and no comb (they are all pullets). I have Brown Leghorns that are 3-4wks old and the only way I can tell who's what is that my boys finally have combs (I have known for a week now).

They are three weeks old however I just thought that it was so odd that I purchased them all at the same time and some have tail feathers and some do not!

so do you think the chicks with more feathers and tail feathers are hens??

are all the tailless ones lighter in color that the 3 that have tails?
