Hi everyone!
We have 3 amazing young hens and the first one, Lady Gray, has started laying her first eggs this week l. All of the eggs she has laid had a translucent yellow white and pale yellow yolk. Is this normal? We have decided to feed organic food with no addatives to make the yolk darker (which is common here in Australia), what colour are free range eggs meant to be? They yeah their organic pallets and contant access to garden grubs and bugs.
I can post a photo if needed, but I am keen to hear what colours are normal. We poached 4 of her yellow-whites eggs this morning and the whites turned white when cooked and held together beautifully.
Thanks in advance!
