I am thinking of getting some New Hampshire chickens and was wondering if they are sustainable. I mean I breed a new hamp roo to a new hamp hen will I get a new hamp chick? Or will it be some sort of a hybrid chick?

According to their profile "New Hampshires were originally derived from RIR, but are now so different, they are their own breed" So I would say, no, you can breed proper New Hampshire chicks. Just make sure you get your breeding stock from a reputable breeder.
