I need some identifying these "quail". What kind?
One on the left- the white one- looks like an A&M coturnix?
You should post this in the quail section. shelley will know what colors they are. The white one is definitely A&M or English White. I don't know the color of the other one. I have some of them but haven't posted pictures yet so someone can tell me the colors. They both look like corturnix to me though.
Both are coturnix quail. The white one is an A&M, the other looks like rosetta or tibetian. Under the quail page, there's a sticky at the top that has colors of chicks and adults, in close-ups so you can compare.
Thanks for the responses. I didn't realize there was a quail section. I haven't scrolled down that far on the page yet. This wesite is a huge source of info!!! I have to be careful about how much time I spend looking. I work at a wildlife rescue & rehab oragnization and we got these 2 quail from a seizure case. We also got several chickens and ducks that are in poor health but are now on the road to recovery. Thanks again!!!!
