Sent by Hoover's Hatcheries and it wasn't on "the list" but neither were Silver Laced Wyandotte and I know I have one of those.

I have my doubts that they're Prairie Bluebell Eggers because they look so uniform. 3 little pullets all looking alike.

So I'm wondering, could they be Delawares? They'll be 6 weeks old tomorrow.

I tagged Hoover's with a post on Instagram and they responded asking where and when I got them. Hmmmm....

The shipment came from Minnesota but theyre in Iowa. I wonder if they contracted out to another hatchery because of increased demand?

Honestly I can't really say from this photo. The legs in the photo appear more white than yellow, but that could also just be the way the lighting is affecting it. What color to the legs look like in person? Also while there appears to be some markings at the hackles, again the photo is not quite clear as to whether that is the signature markings of a Delaware or not and the lack of any black feathering at the back end is also suspect. Can you try to get a nice clear photo of one of them as an individual and show them from the side in full profile? What comb type do they have?

Coronation Sussex.
That was my first thought, too. I have bred heritage line Delawares for years, though I have only one remaining 11 year old hen now. They don't have distinct enough markings for Delawares. The leg color could be a substandard leg color, but usually, those look sort of greenish, not just white, on some hatchery Delawares. Hmm, a mystery!

And yes, lavender Columbian Orps would be super rare at a regular hatchery!

Certainly! Here are some better photos that I just took now. They have single Combs

They do have single combs but I can't see where Hoover's Hatcheries lists coronation Sussex.

Maybe they just haven't updated their website. 😛
