We have had three chickens for about a month, and my boys are IN LOVE with them (I kinda am too).

If they get hurt or sick, is there someone I can call? Our dog's vet doesn't handle chickens and couldn't recommend someone who could.

usually there is a vet around, if you have a feed barn, or a poultry supply store you can ask there

There are vets who see chickens. Call your loical vet & they can tell you who to call in your area. Usually the ones that see livestock :)

Also call your county ag extension office, 4H group, state veterinary school, local or state veterinary association. Mary
