Are these black australorps?

Bought as "brown egg layers" - black australorps? It is not a visible in this lighting but they have a beautiful green sheen. When they were younger I could also see purple. Their combs are very small.

Yes, they are Black Australorps. You should get loads of large, brown eggs from those girls. )

Yes, they are probably Black Australorps. They might also be Black Jersey Giants. If you look at their feet pads, you will know: yellow foot pad = Jersey Giant, white foot pad = Australorp.
