Are these Bourbon Reds??

    Can someone ID these poults, my lil Sis bought some and they're supposed to be Bourbon Reds but the guy isn't sure of the breed, sex or age. Thanks

    Nope not BRs! That is the only breed I know, so sorry I can't help further!

    Too early to sex, but soon. Listen for weak gobbling, and look for changes in the bumps on the neck (caruncles). Several other traits are also discussed routinely here. Get some pictures in more even light in another 4 weeks and we might be able to figure them out.

    Looks like neither one is a standard bronze. Also, not bourbon red. Might be golden Narragansett or red bronze. Looks like some red in them anyway. Again, easier to tell with evenly lighted photos in a month or so.
