Are these Buff Orpingtons???

Hello I bought what were advertised as Buff Orpington chicks at my local Rural King the other day. I am starting to think they are a different breed. They have white / dark speckled wings and feathered legs. Is this normal for Buff chicks or any ideas what they actually are? Thanks!

It would appear that your chicks have feathered legs, extra toes, single combs, possible muffs, and definitely non-buff feather patterns. My diagnosis is "Salmon Faverolles."

Definitely not BO, but I agree that they do look like salmon faverolles chicks. So cute!!

Thanks everyone! Does it seem plausible that favorelles could be sold at Rural King? Also, I had researched breeds before and was pretty set on Buff Orpington. Mainly for eggs and gentle temperament as I have small children. From what I am reading about the favorelles is they are pretty similar. Any major differences to where I would want to exchange these guys? Thanks again!

I'd keep them Never had them but from what I've read, temperament wise they are similar to BO. Love my Buffs/Orpington breed but someday hope able to get some SF ... We don't get much variety here.

I had a SF cross and she was the sweetest thing ever. Never had purebred but I'm sure there as sweet as my crossed one was. Both breeds have a good temperment.
