How can you tell from those pictures?

I am seriously doubting my initial impressions of my duck/drakes of what is what. Too young for drake feathers...and the quack noise has me totally confused.

Definitely Drakes with the colours..Not Hens in any way.

Dark heads and neck rings is how I made my assessment.

Dark head and neck with a white neck ring. Burgundy chest feathers coming in. Classic male plumage. My Rouen drake, Noah.
