Are these hens RIRs or RIR mixes?

I got her 4 years ago at my local feed store. But I don't know where they got her from. How can you tell what color their skin is? By looking at their legs?

But she turned all white when she started growing in feathers and then grew in red ones and then like a year ago I started feeding them fermented feed and she turned the red and white. I figured it was just a coincidence that her feathers changed at the same time.

Yeah that's super strange. I'm not sure what to make of it.

Skin color you look at soles of feet and legs. Sometimes they can have a wash of color over their legs. In that case, check soles of feet.

This hen was supposed to be a production red. Is that what she looks like?

Most likely RIR mixes.

RIR don't have white feathers that's why I think it's mixed like mine.
