Are these pure ameraucanas?

    Can someone tell me if these look to be pure ameraucanas. THere is one that stands out more than the rest. That one has whites spot on it with some brown in the feathers. I dont think that one is pure. But all the rest look good to me. I think the colors are blue and black. Am i right

    As a newbie ,i thiught they were supposed to be rupmless [no tail] but i am not 100% sure

    You are thinking of Araucanas....These are Ameraucanas

    OOPs LOL I guess i read it too fast from the pics i dont see any beards is it just the pic or do they have beards?

    The one beside the one you think is mixed seems like his comb could not be a pea.
    Its hard to tell from the pic.
    Slate legs, check..peacombs check...look for muffs, beards and brownish red eyes and make sure the pads of the feet are white and not yellow.
    Sometimes the beards are slower to come in, or they pull them out but it does not appear from the pic that they are abundantly bearded.

    oopps ..I forgot to mentioned. They are only 4 weeks old.That makes a difference.

    my had them from day one ,,,and all the EE;s /americana chicks i see online have noticable beards an or muffs!
