Are these really Brahmas?

    I got six of these chicks at Tractor Supply and they are supposed to be Buff Brahmas but there are no feathered legs on any of them and one or two of them almost look like the feathers are some what frizzled. Anyone know what these guys are if they are not really Brahmas?

    That is not a Brahma, thought I'm not sure what breed it actually is. Could you get some better pictures??

    I am no expert but to me she looks like a Buff Orpington. Hope that's not awful news because they are mighty fine birds.

    Here is another pic,

    I am starting to think Buff Orpingtons as well (not a bad thing) I just thought I was getting Brahmas.

    Yep, that's what I was thinking too with no leg feathers showing up. Stupid Tractor Supply [​IMG] , it would be nice if they knew what they were actually selling. Oh well, they are really nice birds and they will be a good addition to the flock.

    Yeah, I think TSC should just list all their chick bins as "mystery chicks"...it would be far more accurate [​IMG]
