they are at least a month old. Splash muran, lavender Orpington and idk what the black one is. Any input would be appreciated thanks.

Male Chickens are known as "Cockerels" for the first 12 months. Then they are referred to as "Roosters".

That's my problem ... Whenever I have a "favorite" it ends up a cockerel ... So I try very hard not to have favorites & no straight run as added safety. If cockerels didn't crow, dang I'd have a field day with Chicken Math.

Are these your only chickens? I’ve heard roosters can sometimes get along as an all male flock (as long as there are no females). I don’t know how often this actually works.
