Hello, Chicken People! I've been a long time browser of these forums, but this is my first post. We got these chicks 7 weeks ago from a local feed store. They are all supposed to be hens, but I suspect these 2 may be roosters. Opinions? One is a barred rock and the other a gold laced wyondonette. Both are 7 weeks old. TIA![IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

I can't zoom in on the pictures which makes it hard to see, but I'm thinking the 2 Barred Rocks are female. The combs are different on the laced wyannadotte ,and I can't really make out the Feather shape (round, female or pointy male) I'm just learning about the laced wyannadotte breed myself as I got my first Silver Laced Wyannadotte two weeks ago. I have 7 Barred Rocks, 1 Silver Laced wyannadotte, 1 Golden Buff, 1 Silver Penciled Rock, all two weeks old and I have Two 3 1/2 year old Silkies. :) Sorry I couldn't be more help. Those are my guesses, but I'm no expert.

My best guess would be they are hens. Their tail feather are not up right enough for Roosters.
