Are these saddle feathers or just feathers that havent emerged enough to look rounded? My spitz shows zero signs of these feathers but i found them on both of my polish! They are tougher to see on the buff, obviously. Including crest and comb photos as well. Both about 8 weeks old now. Millie(b&w) doesnt act male but pumpkin(buff) kinda has always had me wondering. I did try putting pumpkin in with the boys though and it hid the entire time. They always take in the new guy by next day but not this time. Thanks for your (hopefully) help!!

Definitely saddle feathers on the Silver Laced one (black & white).

I'm not quite sure on the buff one-- you are right, it is harder to see those clearly. That one will probably become much more clear in the next few weeks, as the feathers in question get longer and show their shape better.

Thanks guys. I checked today just to see and of course I was like, crap. The Spitz is showing zero signs and those feathers are rounded and poofy.
Are male polish jerks? Pumpkin has always acted like a boy but Millie has been calmer but doesnt want to be held. The BLP is so cool looking and hoping he can stay. Lol.
We also have a white crested blue thats a baby but i feel is also male 🤦‍♀️
