Are these wood chips too big for the run?

We got bags of “Pine Bark Nuggets” from Home Depot to put in the run. But I’m wondering now if the pieces are too big? Some of them are 4 or 5 inches. Will these be ok for chicken feet?

Not only that. Pine bark attracts roaches. Good for litter and good for snacks.

IMO a mix of different materials and textures is better than just one thing because it helps resist packing and matting.
