Thankyou everyone, I didn't want to give up of any of my chickens. I have found a pair of French Black Copper Marans that I want, and the lady will only sell them as a pair. I've heard that one rooster is best for a small flock. I will try to remember that chickens have wattles...Thanks again

I'd say that they're both definitely hens, because it's characteristic of their breeds have a large comb and wattles.
