are they ok to eat?

I am new to the chicken world,and I have been wondering about my chicken laying an egg.I can not wait to taste the new flavor in the egg,but I am not so sure which one I can eat,like will the first egg taste funny or will it be just as good or could it would be easy to crack open,do you have any ideas???
