Can someone tell me if they are Pullets? I'm not allowed to have roosters and we are hoping they will be hens. They are all 5 weeks old.

i am not nearly so sure. i see wattles already. at 5 weeks, that is a worry. the barred looks to be colored like a pullet, but it is clearly not a BR, likely a cuckoo.

Quote:Are they too young to get waddles? I know I'm new to all this but I thought their waddles and combs would be bigger and red if they were roosters. I'm hoping they are girls. [IMG] I would hate to get rid of them. Wow... I ordered a Barred Rock. When will I know for sure it is one then?
