Are they supposed to have hot feet?

My chicks have always felt very warm when they roosted on my hands and arms. They are now 8 weeks old, and one roo in particular seemed to have very hot feet tonight. They felt like they were burning my skin. It's in the upper 90's during the days now. I assume that chickens have a pretty high body temperature as they incubate their eggs. But is it normal for their feet to be very hot. The roo was also panting a little.
