Are we going crazy??

We have a back of chick living outside with their momma. We have suspected for some time that one of our almost-six-weeks-old chicks is a roo. For a few days two members of our family (not mentioning any names to protect the potentially insane) have occasionally heard a feeble crow. Is this possible?
