Are you able to tell a difference, with taste...

    of your birds with what they eat? I can tell a good wild goose that ate corn compared to one that ate blueberries...is this also true with meat chickens?

    How interesting! I have 7 roosters to be dispatched of soon... within 2 weeks. I think I will feed some of them different stuff and try a control group experiment. Thanks for the idea:)

    Razz...

    There's a distinctive taste difference with spring geese here in Alaska & fall geese...spring geese feed mainly on corn & other grains from the L48 & the fall geese fatten themselves up on blueberries...I would wonder, if chickens are the same...does diet impact taste?

    we have LOTS of blackberries around here...I think I will begin feeding a couple of roos those? wadda you think?
