Are you kidding me?!?! Weird Ebay Auction

The picture for this auction caught my eye. Now, read the auction. I can't believe that they would post a picture on Ebay of a hawk EATING one of their chickens that they are trying to sell eggs from!

Part of a flock owners responsibility to to provide protection from predators. This is driving me crazy.

Sounds like they are selling eggs so you can hatch chickens to feed the predators in your area. I guess the seller is more into the surrounding wild life than their chickens and doesn't mind them becoming food. Unless I am reading that wrong.

I guess similar to raising feeder mice to feed snakes?

Sounds more to me like they are trying to make a statment about their unhappiness at not being able to kill raptors that are feeding on the flock.
