My smallest hen lays the largest eggs of the entire flock, sometimes larger that I can fit into the allotted slot in a carton. She's a leghorn and the only one I have that lays white eggs. This is what I found in the nests today. I don't know why or which hens are doing it, but the smaller eggs are very tiny-about 1 1/4"- and other eggs of this size have had no yolks. Egg white omelets anyone?
