you are going to have to consider this situation similar to a mother who has to give up her baby and wants to find a quality family for the child. I have preserved my strain of light brown leghorns since 2003. but recently had to relocate my birds. The mixed age hens and one rooster are in Tucson Arizona. also if you want to just raise the chicks from these birds that will hatch in 2 weeks that would be another good thing.
