I recently bought pine shavings so that I could already have supplies for when my eggs hatch, and trust me, I am ready for them too hatch [IMG]

Will the aromatic oils present problems to the chickens??

It's the aromatic oils in cedar shavings, not pine, that can cause respiratory problems for your birds.

Thanks Dawn. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to go and return it.

    You're Welcome!

I remember, all too well, how nervous I was about getting our chicks back in May!

Hmmm, I do have one Silky egg in the bator, wonder if that's where the feeling of "being watched" is coming from? [IMG]

yeah, I got the same feeling. They actually kept me from sleeping one night.

they are evil little buggers. I'm kinda protective over them though. I just hope that any scientists don't jump out of the closet and inject them with dye. ( inside joke; read Dinos_rock's post)
