    Out of the 9 in that pen that one is the only one I think is a male. I don't know how to tell on the golden one.

    Wonderful pics MP! Love those ducks!

    That would be a male quail, the males have a buff/salmon colored chest while the females would have a spotted chest, same thing with the goldens, and by the looks of it that golden is a female [​IMG]

    Love the ducks! I've been debating whether or not I want Appleyards...I still haven't decided. My husband wants wood ducks, go figure.

    wow yummy ducks and keep a pair or two to hatch from. I love the embdens and toulouse !
