Artichoke leaves safe for chickens?

Can my chicks have the left over leaves of an cooked artichoke?

BABY chicks? In the brooder? I'd not give them to chicks.

There's not much there for them, and they are tough and fibrous, so I don't think they'd be very excited about having them in the brooder with them.

I don't even think - but I could be wrong - that adult chickens would be all that interested in "used" artichoke leaves.

My Girls are 20 weeks+ old. I just want to make sure the leaves aren't toxic before I let them try them.
